Tatcha : The Silk Canvas Primer review…

Hello You!

It has been 2 years since I posted anything. I cannot believe I left my site dead for a good long while. So time to make a come back and chat a little about the base of every foundation! Primer.

To prime or not to prime is truly a individual’s choice. I prime. I love to Prime and sometimes I use more than one. Priming helps for me personally. My makeup looks smoother and lasts Longer as well.

This Tatcha primer has been very very highly raved by many Youtube Beauty Gurus. I have always wanted to try Tatcha products. Their dewy skin mist was something I have been eyeing on for the longest time. After this primer was launched, many people had so many good things to say about it. So the minute it launched in Singapore, I had to have it!

Firstly, I must say… that I am super super stoked that Singapore is finally bringing in some awesome brands and honestly it’s about time!

On to the review.

The primer is priced at $72 SGD. I definitely like the way it came packaged. So Pretty and Classy. So Tatcha. But I do not know if it is something I would want to travel with given that the product does take up space.

I like the fact that it is packaged this way and it keeps the product sanitary and I know that no one has touched it or tampered with.

Like I said, it is all so pretty but I honestly find it bulky to be carrying on especially for travel and for a Primer.

The primer claims to be:

– MultiTasking: Protects skin and also make makeup last ALL day.

– It can be used on face, eyes and lips.

– Nourishes Skin.

– Aims to reduce shine for a matte finish.

– Allow make up to be applied evenly.

So I have used it a few times.

This comes with a circle disc-like scoop. You are supposed to use that to glide on the surface of the primer until you reach the “line”, which is at the back of the scoop. That is the “desired” amount to be used apparently. It is like a Balm like texture and has light colour to it.

The very first time I did that, I felt that I did not get enough product for my entire face. I then go on to dot it all over my face and rub it all over my face like always for any primer.

The very first thing I noticed was the Strong scent. I honestly found it strong and I did not like to use products that smelled as such.. The smell does goes off after awhile.

The next thing I realised is, my pores does not look smoother and in fact, I felt it looked more obvious. It definitely did not feel like it made me matte either.

I used my usual Foundation as well so I know how it lasts. As I put on foundation, my pores looked even more obvious… I already hated it… I did the rest of my makeup and went out. I had my makeup on for only about 2 hours and I already noticed that my foundation has seperated, it was looking patchy, it was coming off around my nose and smile lines. Basically It Looked Horrendous!!

I was extremely disappointed with the outcome.

I then decided to take out the instructions phamplet from the box . The instructions was to get the amount required with the scoop. Then to warm it up with your fingertips and massage into the skin in upwards motion.

Who reads instructions for primer?? I do not and when I did, I was like seriously?? 😳

The best part was, the directions on Sephora website was to dot on face and massage. Whereas the instructions in the phamplet was totally different.

Well ok… So I decided to follow instructions the next day.

I tend to work my primer in sections. Having said that, it is awfully troublesome to get some amount of that scoop, warm it up, press and then get a little more and warm n press. I felt like this was just taking up too much time. Well It did. I spend more time than usual or even necessary warming it up and pressing in.

The “balmy” primer becomes more “liquid-like” and is more colourless when warmed up. The strong scent becomes much bearable when pressing onto the face. The end result, it did make my pores look smaller, face smoother. But it did Not mattify my face. In my opinion it was more of a healthy skin kind of dewy primer.

Did I love it? No. Did I hate it? No.

Why? This primer was not terrible if used in the right way. However, I can achieve this same result and even (I feel) better, with my current routine with my current primer. It takes way much lesser time for me.

My makeup did last through the day. But I also got a little more oily on my T-Zone faster then usual compared to my Norm.

I tried it again on the third day. Same thing. I just do not feel the WoW factor everyone was raving about. I am Sorry But I don’t.

The 4th time I tried it again and that time I used powder foundation instead. I was going out for a short while and did not want to wear a full beat face. Powder Foundation, little contour, little blush, highlight and thats it. It looked nice and yet smooth.

My conclusion:

(Sorry If i Bore u to this point but i felt it was necessary to explain and give the details.)

No doubt it does make the skin look smoother and pores smaller, It did not impress me enough.

For the amount I paid, I should not be working for the product warming it and all. It should be working for me lol.

That scoop thing, I feel that it may not get enough or even too much product for everyones face as we all differ in face shape and sizes. Some may need less and some maybe more. When I used more product I noticed I got oily faster.

I still do not know how this product is aiming to be mattifying though. 🤔

I did not try it on my lips or eyes. Did not see the need to. If its Nourishing? Seriously I won’t know unless I use it everyday.

( I love Sephora so Iam not faulting them, but..) Sephora, should put the directions of use on par with instructions given with the product.

Al least people who buy the product, know the proper way it is meant to be used and people who do not want to waste time like me, would not have purchased it.

Is it a Must to buy? No.

Is it a Need? No.

Should you buy it?

Hey It is your money. It is truly up to you. LoL.

If you really want to try Tatcha Primer and do not mind the splurge. Then do try it. Because everyone is different. What I like may not be what you like and vice versa. So you may enjoy it more that I did.

This for me, not a 5/5 and well I bought it so I definitely will use it. Probably use it for days I am going to just wear little makeup and not going full face beat.

I know alot of other people love them…. But I just don’t love it as much. I really feel so bad saying this as I was so so excited to buy it and was anticipating an awesome outcome but ended up feeling Meh…

Oh well. Till my next review…

(Hopefully not 2years later lol)

Ofra & her Liquid Lippies

Hello You!

While we are still hot on that liquid lipstick topic.. This is another brand which I love too!

Ofra has an amazing collection and wide range of liquid lipsticks. Ofra Cosmectics are made in South Florida and they do produce makeup and skincare. I knew about Ofra only when Kathleen collaborated with them and posted a video on her collaboration and that made me buy them. Then Manny collaborated with them and well I love my Favourite Youtubers and I definitely will support their collaborations.

Although I don’t have a big collection of Ofra liquid lipsticks because what I want when I bought were out of stock . But it is enough for me to try them out and say that I love their formula alot! In fact this brand liquid lippies are like number one to me as they are extremely comfortable to wear. This will definitely grow slowly but surely. For now I got a ton loads of new liquid lipsticks staring at me squealing “Use Me!” And I really got to show them some love first.

I have not tried their other makeup products or their highly raved about highlighter but from looking at reviews they also have some bomb highlighters. The liquid lipsticks retail for USD $19.90 and I ordered them directly from their site and shipped them to me. I cant remember how much I paid for shipping though. Oh the only down side to them is they takea little longer then other matte liquid lipsticks to dry down as they are very creamy but once they are dried totally they do not budge and they last a very very long time. Their wand also allows easy application and it is super pigmented. You definitely need to try them at some point. Oh and fyi they have changed their packaging which explains the different in sizes in 2 of the shades.

Pictures and swatches coming up!

So that comes to the end of my Post! The week is halfway through, hope your week is going great. Don’t forget to slap your lippie on and pout 💋. Enjoy your day You!

Flash that Highlight!

This year is a year whereby many Youtubers collaborated with many makeup brands and created awesome products. Everytime a youtuber I love does a collaboration with another brand I always cannot wait to get my hands on them. And I feel that as a Youtuber and a makeup artist they know what consumers wants or will love and tend to produce quality products.

Today’s post is on JH collaboration with Becca on her Champagne Collection Face Palette. Becca launched a whole line of products under the Champagne Collection but I only wanted the Face Palette.

When Becca announced that Champagne Face Palette will be available in all Sephoras online, I did not see the need to order from overseas and decided to wait for it to launch in Singapore. Well it launched later then the date they announced but the minute it was sold online I ordered it and Boy was I jumping with joy. Firstly I am a big fan of her. Secondly I trust anything she creates will be just awesome so I could not wait to get my hands on it. When she first collaborated with Becca to create Champagne PoP, I loved it and back then Sephora Sg did not carry Becca products so I got it online. Now its easier as it is available in Sephora Sg. So when she announced a Face palette, obviously I was not going to miss out on it.

Firstly a big A plus for the packaging. The packaging was so so beautiful, classy and feels solid unlike how sometimes some products when you pay so much but the packaging feels so cheap. It is white and gold. The interior is gold and has a a huge mirror which is of good quality.

There are 2 highlighters which are Champagne Pop & Prosecco Pop, 2 Mineral Blushes which are Amretto and Pamplemousse and 1 Luminous Blush which is Rose Spritz.

Lets get on to the swatches.

They feel so so Buttery and smooth and they apply like a dream. I love to mix Champagne PoP and Prosecco PoP and the end result is so so beautiful. The highlight is definitely on fleek! Pamplemousse looks very bright in the palette but use a fluffy brush, be light handed and build it to how you like it. Rose spritz, I prefer as a blush topper and I have not played around with Amaretto yet. They last a long time on me and they are so pigmented. On a side note, I always prime my face and I always set my face with Urban Decay All Nighter as well. Honestly I do not have any complains except my only minus would be I already own Champagne PoP in a pressed form and now I have an additional in the face palette. Well it only means the extra one will travel with me 😋.

This retails for SGD $80 in Sephora Sg and is currently out of stock online as I write this, but I do remember seeing them on Sephora shelves. Now, $80 is steep but technically you pay for 2 highlighters & 3 blushes. As it is one Becca Mineral Blush costs SGD 48, a Luminous Blush costs SGD $54 and a pressed Shimmering skin perfector (highlight) costs SGD $58. So it is still a good price point and honestly they will last you a long time. It is definitely up to individual preference and yes there are cheaper alternatives out there so it is truly an individual choice. If your skeptical, go to the store and try them out and maybe you will know if you really want it. As for me, I love it and Dang that highlight is just so Awesome!

Till my next post , have a great week ahead and don’t forget to flash that highlight!

J * ⭐️ – Liquid Lippies

Hello you!

Before I start rambling off, If you hate Jeffree star don’t continue reading this as today’s post is on his liquid lipsticks. I do not want to have negative comments or haters here. This is a happy place for makeup lovers. I love makeup whatever the brand is.

The madness of liquid lipsticks have not ended and in fact some brands have stepped up their game with all the different colours and better formula. I just bought a truck load of liquid lipsticks which I will post soon, there are just too many beautiful colours. So.. I always been wanting to get Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks and see if it really as good as what reviews say, but it was always out of stock. So everytime he announced a restock or a launch of something I want, I sit and wait like a hawk to get my hands on them. So thats what I did and I am a happy owner.

This is my small collection and bought in 4 seperate orders as one or another was never in stock. Will show you individual pics and swatches and then my review.

Rich Blood
Rose Matter
Celebrity Skin
Prom Night

Right to Left: Rich Blood, Masochist, Prom Night, Androgyny, Celebrity Skin & Rose Matter

Now that you have seen all the picture and swatches lets get to the review portion.

I bought these Velour Liquid Lipsticks from Jeffree Star’s site and they do ship Internationally and I had no issues with them so far.  They all came intact and on time. They cost USD $18 each. You can also get them from Beautylish and Morphe site.

I love the packaging especially when I love pink so Yes I love the packaging. I also love the wand, it makes application so easy and precise.

(Sorry the above pictures of the wand are not the best, I realised I forgot to take the picture while I was writing this up. )

Ok the formula… The formula is by far one of the best. Usually liquid lipsticks can be  very drying and a handful of the brands have a very comfortable formula and Jeffree star’s is one of them. When I tried them the first time I fell in love and it felt so comfortable. Another thing I love is that you can layer on and it does not get all clumpy or ugly. Usually after having a good meal, it does wear off on the centre of the lips and when you want to reapply, it will not be as smooth an application but with these it actually goes on smoothly. I even took a swim with Androgyny on my lips and post swim it was very much intact! They last a long time on the lips and the colour pay off is good.

So Far I am Loving them and I will continue purchasing them if there are colours I love.  Fyi these lippies are marketed as safe on the eyes too but no I am not going to put them on my eyes though lol. What is your favourite liquid lipstick?

Have a good week ahead!

Kat Von D Finally In Sephora SG

Like Finally!

Actually I am pretty happy, ok… super stoked that Sephora Sg  finally are bringing in these brands. I was thrilled when they brought in Becca and now Kat Von D. Now wouldn’t it be just awesome if they brought in Anastasia Beverly Hills too?? Trust me it will be.

This is such happiness for makeup lovers over here. We don’t have to order and get them shipped. I still remember I bought my first KVD liquid lipstick when I was in Sydney Sephora and how happy I was. That feeling when you get something you been wanting. Actually at that time I wanted Lolita but it was out of stock so I ended up buying another shade instead.

So when Sephora(SG) online launched their KVD products, I did jump on to order them. Actually the only reason I rushed and placed an order was I so wanted to see KVD and I happen to chance upon on IG post by sephora sg and it stated that the first 100 Black card members who purchased KVD products and entered meetKVD at checkout could win a silver wristband and a chance to meet her. Wanting to see if I got a chance, I went online ordered a few stuff and went to checkout. Being firstly excited to purchase KVD products, I totally forgot why I actually rushed to purchase it and forgot to enter the code at checkout. Yes yes at that moment I wish I could smack myself then awhile later I realised thankfully I did not apply as the meet and greet session was happening when I was on night shift. Oh well..

So lets get on to what I purchased. I did not buy alot as I have already by then ordered a truck load of stuff which I will do a HauL on once I get a day off to snap the pics..

Kat Von D Lock It Powder Foundation

Can we please talk about that packaging!!! It is so damn beautiful. I love how it has that rose like designs which is on her liquid lipsticks too and that KVD in the centre just is sooo pretty! Well I love nice packaging! We should appreciate it!

I have used this on the very next day itself. I was headed to Bintan for a vacation with my family and it was a No Wifi holiday, No Handphone, with just pool time, good food and good company.

So It was a morning ferry, so I had put on this powder at about 6am in the morning. I did use primer as it is a Must for me, I had liquid foundation on and I set my entire face with the KVD powder and completed with a setting spray on.

By the time we reached Bintan, had check in procedures done and finally could check in to the villa was about 2 plus in the afternoon. It was already aprroximately 8 hours by then and my makeup was still on and I did No touchups. Even if I wanted to I could not as I purposely left it at home & brought another compact. I mean lets get real, its Brand New, I ain’t gonna risk breaking it. LoL.

So by the time we settled down into our rooms and all was 3ish. The villa was beautiful and had a pool facing the sea and so we had to get in and we did. I did not remve my makeup, in fact I went into the pool with a full face makeup as I wanted to test if it is what it claims.

The powder foundation claims to be:

  • Full Coverage
  • 24 hour wear
  • Transfer resistant
  • Matte finish
  • Fragance free
  • Oil free
  • For all skin types

Yes the pool and the view was too awesome to resist. So I had a swim for almost 2 hrs and honestly I was damn amazed, my foundation was very much intact. It did not wear off or smudge and the only area which was abit worn off was around my eyes but that was because I was using goggles. This foundation really blew me away. I am still testing it out but so far I am liking it.

It is Full coverage, it is super matte, I was matte the entire time and it lasts long hours. 24hr or not I honestly don’t know but seriously who wears makeup that long? By the end of the day my skin will be begging me to remove all my makeup so my face can breathe.  I don’t know if it is for all skin types, I am more to an combination to oily skin and it kept me very matte. But I am not sure if people with more dry skin will enjoy such a matte foundation.

Then I got 2 liquid lipsticks and got a free mini Tattoo liner. I will swatch the liquid lips in a seperate post.

I did not really love the tattoo  liner as I do not find it black enough to my liking but will play around to see if my opinion changes. I will review the liquid lipsticks in a seperate post but for those who are wondering if it is any good, yes it is good. It is one of the best formulas in the market. There are cheaper alternatives but if you want to splurge and if wonder if it any good yes it is good and worth the try.

Well that comes to the end of my post. You beauties have a good week ahead!

Artis Oval 7 – Worth the Hype?

We all have that one favourite brush or tool to keep our foundation looking flawless and it becomes a staple in our makeup routine. My staple is Sigma F80 and so far that has been my favourite.

Then there was this hype about the Artis Oval 7, this spoon-like brush which even my husband mocked at me when he saw the brush. That brush was not cheap. But being intrigued and watching my favourite youtubers rave about this, I just needed to know it this was worth the hype. Plus I have a thing for Beautiful looking brushes.

So I bought it. Mine was from the Elite Mirror Collection and I bought them from their Artis Site and they do have International Shipping. It costs USD $60 (excluding shipping, can’t remember shipping cost). This first pictire below does not look shiny as I edited it; my home was reflecting too clearly and this was taken when I first got this brush months ago. The recent pictures after first 2 pictures shows the true shine (used something else to take good pictures) and there were NO edits. They are really mirror like, so shiny and looks so classy.

Oval 7

18cm Long

Fibre bundle: 3x5cm

The bristles are very very soft. They are dense and the handle; once you get used to holding it, its actually easy. I used this a few times to put on my foundation and I fell in love instantly. It is extremely soft, it absorbs very minimal product unlike other brushes and beauty blender. So you don’t need as much pumps as you normally do. It gives a Flawless finish and no streaks or what so ever. It applies foundation like a dream and it is now officially my favourite foundation brush.

This brush has multiple uses, it is said to be able to  Apply

  • Foundation
  • Blush
  • Bronzer
  • Highlight
  • Skincare
  • Setting Powders

Now I only tried on applying foundation as typically I do not use one brush for everything when it comes to face makeup. I usually use my foundation brushes 2-4 times maximum before I wash them. Of course I spot clean before each use so I do not like mixing other products with a foundation brush. Plus, this was the Fastest I ever applied foundation.

I believe this could apply skincare which would save alot of product, blusher, bronzer and powders. I am not very sure about highlight though. It is stated in the site a “Perfect Size” brush and I also feel the same but personally I think It is too large for a highlight unless maybe if you angled it and use the sides of brush. End of the day, we all have different face sizes and we all have different ways and preferences to do our makeup. This is just my individual opinion and I give a huge thumbs up for this brush and I probably might get another 1/2 more some day.. Not now though.. I am going to be on a NO buy for 3 months to save that spare cash for a longer holiday I will be taking. 😎

Lastly the only downside to this brush is firstly the price point, as much as I think it is worth the money as you do save on products which means your products last longer. But is it necesary? If you have money yea go ahead and splurge but if you work on a budget you seriously do not have to spent that kind of money as there are many affordable brushes which apply makeup perfect too. Another downside is storing it is kind of tough. I put them facing up in my brush holder which has a small drawer. Not the way I like storing them but thats the best so far. Nevertheless I am IN LOVE with this brush. What are your favourite ride or die brushes?? Maybe I could try them too.

Chi Chi

Hello Makeup Lovers!

Last year I went on a Anniversary trip with my Hubby to Australia. The beautiful Aussie. We went to Sydney and then after a few days we drove down to Melbourne. It was an extremely wonderful experience and I love the place and love the scenery and importantly I loved the nature and peace and it got me feeling so so relaxed!

Anyways, I was actually excited to go hunt for makeup when I got to Australia. Only that when I got there I realised how expensive makeup was and it was relatable and some more expensive than back in Singapore. In Sydeny there was a Sephora but honestly the variety was so so, they do have some products Singapore does not carry but honestly nothing fantastic. Sadly Melbourne had no Sephora and I was pretty bummed. However I still did buy some things. I bought 2 Anastasia Beverly Hill Palette, some BYS eyeshadows and all that will be in a seperate video and I got some Chi Chi palettes which I found at Target. Now I bought 2 for myself and 3 others for a cousin and sister in laws. These brand Chi Chi is not very talked about and I knew about it when I once watched ShaaanXO Chi Chi Haul. When I swatched it, I loved it and so I ended up buying them for myself and as gifts.

Chi Chi – O.M.F.G.

I did not swatch all the shades hut the pigmentation was awesome. They feel so buttery. The matte shades though not so pigmented and I had to swatch a few times but majority was still pretty much awesome.

Chi Chi – Sunset

This is my Favourite one out of all the palettes which was available there. I Love the colours in the palette and all of them were so buttery, pigmented and they blend like a dream! They lasted on me for an entire day but I do use eye primer, its a must for me so I do not how they last without primer but seriously look at the colours. Too pretty. The only thing this palette lacks is a Transition shade but otherwise I still love this palette and no regrets purchasing them.

P.S. Don’t Forget to be Awesome!

Ugly. Fat. Disgusting. Stop it.

Today’s post is going to be slightly different. No I still have a ton load of makeup to review and post about but… Thought I come on and have a little chit chat type of blog.

For those not intrested in this kind of post do skip this.

How many of us get called names or worse, call ourself names?

“I am Fat.” “God look at all the fat and layers on my body!” “I am So Ugly!!” “Why don’t I have the perfect body??!” “I look so damn disgusting!!” “No wonder no one looks at me anymore.” “What are they looking at??” “Look at her, she thinks she is so pretty but she is f***ing ugly” “So much makeup, must be to hide her ugly face!” “Woah you have gained so much weight” “She is so lazy to exercise” “You eat too much” “Lose the weight to get pregnant” “I hate my body and hate how I look” “You are Ugly!”.

Every single day alot of women, including myself get commented on by others and sometime the worse enemy lies within us. If your small sized you get comments, if your big you get comments. If you eat you get comments, if you don’t you get comments. If you lost weight u get comments and if you gain weight you get comments.

I used to have a small sized body but after marriage I gained a lot of weight. From then till today, I get commented on alot. Some to my face and some stab my back. Some are my haters and some are my friends and family. Then there are days.. It is me. I realised.. that I am not alone. Alot of woman struggle with this issue no matter what age, size, religion, single or married. So many woman get ridiculed, commented and it makes them so self conscious and feel insecured that they worry about every single thing they do, fearing who would say what.

I thought to myself.. Why must I feel that way. Why must people talk about me and be so crude towards me. I am a human and I get very angry, upset and I do breakdown sometimes when people say things which hurts. We all are human with emotions. But does it have to be that way?? Why should we feel or be made to feel this way.

People will keep talking as long as they live. People will never stop being nasty.

But, we can choose to learn to love ourself, we can learn to be happy with ourself and we can choose to hear only the good things. We can choose how we want to react and act. Easy to say you might say .. But you and I know, we all have that choice.

Only we can change ourself and accept ourself. Only we can love ourself for what and who we are. It is ok if people dislike us and ridicule us.. Let them be.. I feel that this people have too much spare time to sit and discuss about people. Remember only those with small minds discuss people. We are more than that and we can be better.

Lose that weight only if you want to do it for youself and not for others. Only if you think it is necessary for the sake of your health and not cause of people. Eat healthy only for  yourself and not because of others. Exercise only if you want to for the sake of good health. Whatever you want to do has to be for yourself and not because of others. Dress how you want to and be confident with how you look . Be confident with your body. You are beautiful in and out. Ever seen a person who does not have the perfect body but they look so damn good and attractive despite all that? I have and I admire their confidence.

Many women feel so upset and demoralised with the way they look. But we forget to realise.. There is someone out there who would give to be in our shoes and to look how we look. There are people out there who do not have food to eat, clothes to wear, who are dying due to terminal illness, people who lost their limbs, people who can no longer walk and talk, people who have no luxury or roof over their head. People who will give anything to be you and me. There are so many people who are suffering.. Here we are given the functioning body, food and clothes and “hello”.. internet to sit and scroll and yet be so displeased with ourselves. We get so affected by what people think and say about us… We have such a gifted life and we should be living it fully and not be sitting and crying and feeling upset over this.

I am overweight. I do not have a perfect body. But you know what, I am beautiful. I Tell myself I am beautiful. I am a responsible person, I am loving towards my Family & people I love and care about. I am educated, I work hard for my money and I pay my own bills. I have grown up so much and I have my fair share of mistakes and scars in Life, but despite all this I know I have a good heart. People think I am so confident, I am so Bold, I am fearless and strong and some even think I am Pompous. But, People do not know that I am also Human and insecured, I cry and I have fears. But the one thing which keeps me going is I wipe my tears when I am done crying , I get up with head high like nothing matters. No I am not acting. It means I try again. We have our good and bad days but you do not stop trying. You do not stop loving yourself and you Do Not give up.

Heck have you seen the Plus Size Models? They are more sexy looking than skinny ladies media potrays as perfect body. Have you seen how confident they look?? None of us are born perfect or small, there is a reason designers still cater beautiful clothing for plus size women. There is a reason plus size woman are on some magazine covers. And what makes you think being skinny and slim and beautiful makes you feel Happier? If You cannot love yourself now.. What makes you think you can love yourself after you lose 5/10/15 KG?.

Beyonce Is not skinny, Kim Kardashian is not skinny. Adele is not skinny. Melissa McCarthy is not Skinny. These people are yet successful and people still love them.

The thing is, nothing can change unless WE change. You can never be free from remarks and comments or Insecurities. But you can change how YOU and I feel about ourselves. Do not be ashamed of your body and accept it. Love yourself, encourage and empower other women and spread positivity. Looking good and beauty does not equate to smaller size. It all comes within. The day you choose to love yourself No matter what, is the day you truly free yourself from all this unnecessary pain.

If you think that you are in this battle alone, let me tell you that many many women and men are in this same battle. There are people who are depressed and people who emotionally suffer because of this. This is a daily struggle. No One can change overnight.. But try. Make the effort to love yourself and things may just look alot better..

We can never satisfy others and ourselves. We can never stop people from talking. But we can choose to let people be and keep ourself happy. We can choose to love our body and spread the love. We can remind one another that we are enough. Surround yourself with people who love you genuinely instead of being around people who hurt you. Someone who love you does not make you insecured but instead motivates you and loves you despite it all.

End of the day, when we all pass on, Nobody remembers your weight or body shape . Everyone remembers the kind of person you are and remembers how you made them feel. To sit and cry and be miserable or to be the happiest you can and love yourself and others, its all Your Choice.

The number on the scale and the words of others does not define Beauty. It only defines them. Love yourself.

I know I cannot change what everyone feels, but I just want you guys to know that your not alone, you deserve better and you can do better than this. I Love all you beautiful woman.

You Blushing??

Damn! I really need to keep posting regularly. Been gone too long.. Happening too often. Well lets get going!

Do you beauties have certain makeup products you always buy more than of another?? I buy alot… Don’t judge. However I tend to buy more type of certain products than of another. Blush is one of the those I realise I don’t normally buy… Probably cuz it is not something as hyped and has many new releases from multiple brands like the liquid lipsticks, eye palette collabrations and highlighters… I only realised last December that I owned like 4 blushers which I frequently use only 2 of it all the time… I tend to be very very picky with the colour of blusher especially being a medium tan, I personally shy away from anything which may look light on me or anything I see specks of shimmer on even without trying them out but now I am more open and trying new stuff..Ok enough yacking and lets move on to my current Blush collection..

Illamasqua – Thrust
This is Thrust from Illamasqua. It looks very very pink but… It is a beautiful colour, you do have to be light handed and work your way to how bright you want it or use a big fat blush brush if your afraid you get too heavy handed. This is one of those I used ALL the time.
Swatch of Thrust
Tarte – Blushing Bride
Swatch of Blushing Bride

This is the other one which I use frequently. Tarte in Blushing Bride. This is a more darker shade and even if you do get heavy handed it doesn’t look awful, it still looks beautiful on the skin. It does have a bit of shimmer though.
Chanel – 270 Vibration
Swatch of 270

This is from Chanel. It is my very first Chanel Blusher and it was a gift for my birthday. I don’t always use this cuz it looks a bit too light on me personally so I tend to be very light handed or I like to mix them and that works much better on me. That brush though is seriously not necessary, it is abit powdery so be careful to tap excess off.
Nars Mini Duo – Orgasma & Laguna
Above is the Nars Mini Duo in Orgasm Blush and Laguna Bronzer. I picked it up while waiting to make payment at Sephora. Those aisles just make you spend more! Well I was hesitant to buy the regular size so when I saw That there was this mini version I bought it. The bronzer doesnt show up so much on my skin, just like a little golden effect, even the blush doesnt work for me on its own. But the blush is amazing as a Topper. I use this on top of my blushes and it is sooooo beautiful!!! It makes you look like you have a healthy glowy skin. Very pretty!

Nyx Ombre Blush – 04 Mauve Me

This is Nyx Ombre Blush and this is one of those whereby you can use the 3 different shades on its own or use it all swirled together. I personally do not like this as a blush on its own but it works nicely as a topper too. I like the middle shade more than the lighter ones so I normally do not use them all together. Personally I do not Love it as a Blush but I am Sure others may like it on its own as the colours are beautiful but too shimmery for my liking. If the middle shade was on its own with no shimmer , that could be my next Favourite!

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Blush – Flame 4

This is Bobbi Brown blush in Flame 4 and this is my current obsession. This is also a gift and it is my first Bobbi Browm Blush. When I tried it on for the very first time, I was sold!! It is extremely beautiful!!! The shimmer is very minimal and the colour is buildable and it is extremely beautiful and pigmented. I reach for this every single time!! I have decided to get more Bobbi Brown blushers but well I always end up shopping other products instead. LoL. I am sure that day will come. What are your favourite blushers??
