Ofra & her Liquid Lippies

Hello You!

While we are still hot on that liquid lipstick topic.. This is another brand which I love too!

Ofra has an amazing collection and wide range of liquid lipsticks. Ofra Cosmectics are made in South Florida and they do produce makeup and skincare. I knew about Ofra only when Kathleen collaborated with them and posted a video on her collaboration and that made me buy them. Then Manny collaborated with them and well I love my Favourite Youtubers and I definitely will support their collaborations.

Although I don’t have a big collection of Ofra liquid lipsticks because what I want when I bought were out of stock . But it is enough for me to try them out and say that I love their formula alot! In fact this brand liquid lippies are like number one to me as they are extremely comfortable to wear. This will definitely grow slowly but surely. For now I got a ton loads of new liquid lipsticks staring at me squealing “Use Me!” And I really got to show them some love first.

I have not tried their other makeup products or their highly raved about highlighter but from looking at reviews they also have some bomb highlighters. The liquid lipsticks retail for USD $19.90 and I ordered them directly from their site and shipped them to me. I cant remember how much I paid for shipping though. Oh the only down side to them is they takea little longer then other matte liquid lipsticks to dry down as they are very creamy but once they are dried totally they do not budge and they last a very very long time. Their wand also allows easy application and it is super pigmented. You definitely need to try them at some point. Oh and fyi they have changed their packaging which explains the different in sizes in 2 of the shades.

Pictures and swatches coming up!

So that comes to the end of my Post! The week is halfway through, hope your week is going great. Don’t forget to slap your lippie on and pout 💋. Enjoy your day You!

Flash that Highlight!

This year is a year whereby many Youtubers collaborated with many makeup brands and created awesome products. Everytime a youtuber I love does a collaboration with another brand I always cannot wait to get my hands on them. And I feel that as a Youtuber and a makeup artist they know what consumers wants or will love and tend to produce quality products.

Today’s post is on JH collaboration with Becca on her Champagne Collection Face Palette. Becca launched a whole line of products under the Champagne Collection but I only wanted the Face Palette.

When Becca announced that Champagne Face Palette will be available in all Sephoras online, I did not see the need to order from overseas and decided to wait for it to launch in Singapore. Well it launched later then the date they announced but the minute it was sold online I ordered it and Boy was I jumping with joy. Firstly I am a big fan of her. Secondly I trust anything she creates will be just awesome so I could not wait to get my hands on it. When she first collaborated with Becca to create Champagne PoP, I loved it and back then Sephora Sg did not carry Becca products so I got it online. Now its easier as it is available in Sephora Sg. So when she announced a Face palette, obviously I was not going to miss out on it.

Firstly a big A plus for the packaging. The packaging was so so beautiful, classy and feels solid unlike how sometimes some products when you pay so much but the packaging feels so cheap. It is white and gold. The interior is gold and has a a huge mirror which is of good quality.

There are 2 highlighters which are Champagne Pop & Prosecco Pop, 2 Mineral Blushes which are Amretto and Pamplemousse and 1 Luminous Blush which is Rose Spritz.

Lets get on to the swatches.

They feel so so Buttery and smooth and they apply like a dream. I love to mix Champagne PoP and Prosecco PoP and the end result is so so beautiful. The highlight is definitely on fleek! Pamplemousse looks very bright in the palette but use a fluffy brush, be light handed and build it to how you like it. Rose spritz, I prefer as a blush topper and I have not played around with Amaretto yet. They last a long time on me and they are so pigmented. On a side note, I always prime my face and I always set my face with Urban Decay All Nighter as well. Honestly I do not have any complains except my only minus would be I already own Champagne PoP in a pressed form and now I have an additional in the face palette. Well it only means the extra one will travel with me 😋.

This retails for SGD $80 in Sephora Sg and is currently out of stock online as I write this, but I do remember seeing them on Sephora shelves. Now, $80 is steep but technically you pay for 2 highlighters & 3 blushes. As it is one Becca Mineral Blush costs SGD 48, a Luminous Blush costs SGD $54 and a pressed Shimmering skin perfector (highlight) costs SGD $58. So it is still a good price point and honestly they will last you a long time. It is definitely up to individual preference and yes there are cheaper alternatives out there so it is truly an individual choice. If your skeptical, go to the store and try them out and maybe you will know if you really want it. As for me, I love it and Dang that highlight is just so Awesome!

Till my next post , have a great week ahead and don’t forget to flash that highlight!

J * ⭐️ – Liquid Lippies

Hello you!

Before I start rambling off, If you hate Jeffree star don’t continue reading this as today’s post is on his liquid lipsticks. I do not want to have negative comments or haters here. This is a happy place for makeup lovers. I love makeup whatever the brand is.

The madness of liquid lipsticks have not ended and in fact some brands have stepped up their game with all the different colours and better formula. I just bought a truck load of liquid lipsticks which I will post soon, there are just too many beautiful colours. So.. I always been wanting to get Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks and see if it really as good as what reviews say, but it was always out of stock. So everytime he announced a restock or a launch of something I want, I sit and wait like a hawk to get my hands on them. So thats what I did and I am a happy owner.

This is my small collection and bought in 4 seperate orders as one or another was never in stock. Will show you individual pics and swatches and then my review.

Rich Blood
Rose Matter
Androgyny

Now that you have seen all the picture and swatches lets get to the review portion.

I bought these Velour Liquid Lipsticks from Jeffree Star’s site and they do ship Internationally and I had no issues with them so far.  They all came intact and on time. They cost USD $18 each. You can also get them from Beautylish and Morphe site.

I love the packaging especially when I love pink so Yes I love the packaging. I also love the wand, it makes application so easy and precise.

(Sorry the above pictures of the wand are not the best, I realised I forgot to take the picture while I was writing this up. )

Ok the formula… The formula is by far one of the best. Usually liquid lipsticks can be  very drying and a handful of the brands have a very comfortable formula and Jeffree star’s is one of them. When I tried them the first time I fell in love and it felt so comfortable. Another thing I love is that you can layer on and it does not get all clumpy or ugly. Usually after having a good meal, it does wear off on the centre of the lips and when you want to reapply, it will not be as smooth an application but with these it actually goes on smoothly. I even took a swim with Androgyny on my lips and post swim it was very much intact! They last a long time on the lips and the colour pay off is good.

So Far I am Loving them and I will continue purchasing them if there are colours I love.  Fyi these lippies are marketed as safe on the eyes too but no I am not going to put them on my eyes though lol. What is your favourite liquid lipstick?

Have a good week ahead!
